A gallery and museum in the old mill in Filipstad. The museum has both local and national exhibitors that are exchanged on a regular basis. On the
The first mill in Filipstad was built here in 1654. The activities ended in the 1940:s and the building was used as a garner and storage place. Today the old mill(kvarn) is used as a museum featuring Nils Ferlin as a permanent exhibition. Downstairs you will find a gallery with art by differnet artists.
Don´t miss the sculpture Kvarntuppen outside the museum. The rooster is made by the artist Sivert Rapp (1922-1989).
Gallery and museum of the poet Nils Ferlin. The museum was ianugrated the 12th of march 2005. It reflects the activity and poetry of the poet, mainly from his early years. On the 1st floor there is an art Gallery.
